OUR STORY

ABOUT OHANAJO
In a world that rarely slows down, we wanted to create a nurturing space where people could come home to themselves. Whether you’re moving through the noise of everyday life, navigating burnout, or simply longing for deeper connection, OhanaJo is an award winning wellness space where like-minded souls can experience mind-body healing and come into a state of deep relaxation and inner calm whether it is through a daily meditation, yoga or sound healing session. It’s a sacred pause — a space designed for your breath to soften, your body to rest, and your thoughts to quiet down, even just for a while.
You can dive into the inner work of self love, practicing with more gratitude and compassion in your life or letting go what no longer serves you to improve your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. It’s a wonderful place to connect with your inner self on your own journey of mind-body healing and transformation.
From the gentle rhythm of a yoga flow to the deep resonance of crystal sound bowls, every experience at OhanaJo is created with intention. It’s a place where you can move with purpose, lie in stillness without expectation, and begin to feel again — clearly, calmly, and completely.
WHY "OHANA"?
“Ohana” is a Hawaiian word that means family, not just the one we are born into, but the one we choose and create through belonging, care, and connection.
When Jojo Struys dreamed of creating a wellness space, she didn’t want to open just another studio, she wanted to create a sanctuary that felt like coming home. A space where you could arrive exactly as you are carrying stress, sorrow, weariness, or wild hopes and be held with gentleness.
To offer people from all walks of life a place to rest, to heal, and to simply be. It’s a home for the heart. A refuge for the soul. A space where strangers become kin, and where healing happens together.
A place where where silence is sacred.
Where your heart can finally exhale.
A place where you could walk in with whatever you're carrying, stress, exhaustion, dreams and feel safe, seen, and supported. A place where you didn’t have to pretend to be okay. Where silence was welcome. Where the heart could breathe.
It’s a promise: You are not alone. You belong.
Welcome to OhanaJo
Where you are always part of the family.
